More Information:

Our sitting lasts approximately one hour. We shoot on location and are fully equipped to work in the environment of your choice. You may choose an outdoor location such as a park, beach, or even your own backyard. If you would like the studio look we have three backdrops for you to choose from: white, gray or black. We recommend you wear light toned clothing, preferably with no busy patterns. Ultimately, it is your choice. We are there to provide the professional eye and skills it takes to create a family heirloom that will be looked at for generations to come.

Questions you may have:

What is the benefit of having two photographers?
Being mothers ourselves, we are very familiar with the limited attention span children may exhibit. With two photographers you can be assured the best coverage in the what sometimes turns out to be a very small window of opportunity.

How many proofs should I expect to see?
It varies, anywhere between 50-150. We take time to tone and crop only the very best. If you are having trouble deciding on which photographs to have printed, we are there to help assist in your decision making process.

What if I can't decide what outfit I would like my child to wear?
Simple - you may change your child's outfit throughout the shoot.

Can I be in the picture too?
Yes, when you book a portrait session with Focus Photography, we go above and beyond to meet your needs and ensure your satisfaction. During a portrait sitting, our coverage is unlimited. You may photograph the whole family, individuals, or just the kids.

When is the best time of day to schedule a portrait session?
For younger children we recommend after morning nap time and after they are fed.
